Adding two throttle bodies...
Ok yes.... i know it sounds completely ridiculous; i'm not an idiot. Don't ask because I wont tell you what i'm doing yet.
However... i'm not familiar with the TPS. Theoretically... if the stock throttle body is at WOT and a second throttle body is say 1/4 open. How will this **** up the car. Infact;i've s/c'ed and replaced the intakemanifold and still dont remember any sensor on the throttle body.
Once againI knowthis is ridiculous as of now... but I just want to know how the car would react inthe above situation, and maybe a way to remedy the problem it would cause.

RE: Adding two throttle bodies...
The TPS sensor gets a voltage reading depending on how much the little recess in it is twisted... If you have ever taken it off you know what I am talkign about. it reads between around 0.50volts to 5.0volts. I dont think it could be done if you had two at different settings and running on the same computer.
Are you going to but a motor in your trunk also along with one under your hood, make it AWD with two 4.6's? You can do it just put a Ford GT transmission on both motors. Or are you going to make it like the GT-R concept motor? that would be bad ***, but you should have them open at the same rate... What are you going to do????

RE: Adding two throttle bodies...
I'm building something no one has ever thought of. I know exactly how to do it; it would be a hell of a lot easier using two throttle bodies instead of modifying the exising one. That's all i'm going to say... I can do it using the existing throttle body but it creates potential problems instead of the device using its own stand alone throttle body.
Pretty much it just uses a potentiometer to vary the voltage. What does the TPS control; Does it effect the A/F ratio.
I suppose if I used dual TPS sensors with some sort of microchipcomparator taking whatever voltage is lowest would work too.

The TPS sits at the back err kinda the side of the throttle body. Its a little square kinda long thing thats held into the throttle body by 2 screws.

I know i've dealt with it before... im gonna take it apart tomorrow and see how I want to go about this. It's a matter of how I want to present the patent.

Sorry... as much as I'd like to share; not letting it out until the patent is atleast pending. [&:] I'm not worried about you taking the idea and going somewhere... but once its out there anyone has access to it.
