RE: Hate to say it. . . .
if it squeaks, go get some grease, costs like 10 bucks for a tube that will lube every join you mustang has like 10 times.
if it whistles, that just means you were too stupid to replace the gasket or line it up properly, or tighten it down correctly.
if your exhaust sounds bad, then you picked a bad combination of mid and tail pipes.
if it's slow, then you obviously had no clue what you were thinking when you went to so much as look for a car, everyone knows mustangs are slow as **** unless they have a supercharger or turbo. one of the reasons everybody loves ls1's and chevy. if you wanted a fast car, you should have spent all of 5 minutes looking on the internet about sports cars.
also seems like your lacking gears, anywho, i put stock ls1's about 2 cars back on a norm lol, and i got my car for 2k with all the boltons and gears done beforehand.

To fix the whistle, remove the intake since you are only getting a couple hp from it.
To fix the exhaust note, change your mid pipe back to stock or to an x (I don't like the sound of my brothers MAC h-pipe either).
To fix the slowness, spend $500-$1000 on a 100 shot of nitrous and you will outrun most of what you come across.
To fix the ride quality, look into shocks and struts.

I thought stock these cars were pretty stout, but I was wrong. I am used to my SRT-4 the cars speed is respectable, however I dont enjoy driving it anymore.
