I am looking at a 5.1 stroker kit for my car.

How much WHP will it make if I do that?

Not a damn thing. Dont buy it just b/c of 5.1L.Ihave it, andIts cool to have if you are alreaady planning to buy a forged kit. You wont really net anything from the extra displacement.

are cars aleady have a large stroke were we loose is in the bore so a stroker kit will help but money to power ratio is not worth it

a buddy of mine had that kit I think from DSS and Patriot stage 2 heads and I think he was making around 315 to the wheels.

get a blower with supporting mods and be done with it

With just those mods? not happening. Maybe with H/C/I full exhaust, full bolt on.

did he have cams?intake?exhaust? anything?

And no there is no replacement for displacement, but theres also no reason for more displacement if you are running crappy 2v heads. Swap to 4v, do the stroker H/C/I throw down 420rwhp N/A and be done with it.

not tryin to steal the thread or anything, but i was looking to doing a fully forged rebuild on my motor now, and like a few months later do a supercharger/BIG single turbo kit on my 2000 mustang GT. and i was thinking about buying the 5.1 liter stroker kit because i thought it would be nice to have and net some nice HP gains with it. and after reading this thread. and seeing that ZW99GT made no gains from it im debating weather or not i should buy it or not. or just buy a forged rods/pistons/ etc. etc. then H/C/I. so im askin ZX99GT should i buy the stroker kit or would it just be usless

It will make virtually nothing on your car as it is setup now.

Unless you have worked heads/cams and a intake just don't worry about it.
