1.7l???

i know kenne bell upgraded there s/c models from the 1.7l to the 2.2l or 2.1l anyhow.. arethere any ways to get the 1.7l i mean it wouldnt be a bad buy??

why get the 1.7? the big bore 2.1 is more efficient isnt it? and it makes more power i thought.

It's more efficient ^^^ you may be able to find a used one for a good price. I don't think they are selling the 1.7 anymore. They all upgraded to 2.1L.

2.1 FTW!!! KB upgraded all their kits and the 1.7 went to 2.1. You could probably find a used 1.7 on ebay or something, which you could probably get a good deal on one.

You might be able to find a good used one over on svtperformance.com. There are some guys over there that could have the 1.7L KB for sale. They are not sold new by KB anymore after they went to the 2.1L as some have said. If you buy used tho, look it over good if you can before you buy it. You wouldnt want to slap a SC on your car thats been run thru the mill and back.

the 2.1l are pricey id rather go with a centri and save some paper. if i find a clean, affordable 1.7l i want to look into it. pm me if anyone has ANY info. thank you

so you're saying there's used superchargers out there that haven't been run thru the mill and back?

Yea... I've seen a few guys upgrade to a 2.1L, and 2k-3k miles later selling the car back to stock and selling the rest of the parts out. It can happen, but not always of course.
