Default Should I take the chance

I have the 410’s coming but I have parked the car for the winter and took the insurance off it. I am taking it to a shop about 20mi from my house to have the work done. Should I have it put on a flat bed for the ride or drive it. I just know my luck and will most likely get hit and not have it covered.

That's insane! I can get a flatbed anywhere in town for $40 each way!!

Do you have a truck? Take a trip down to Ryder/Penske ETC, they usually have car trailers for rent.

an extra 200 to get some gears installed seems almost worth the risk. How icy/snowy are your roads.

I would take it in the middle of the day when nobody is on the roads just to be safe if I was gonna do it that way. But I live in Phoenix I have to drive 100 miles to see snow on top of mountains that are 100 miles away.

snow is to be around 1000 feet tonight but mostly just rain and here in Oregon there is no more oil on the roads so there not slick at all. I just know that some dam red neck with not teeth will hit me and the loose the license and a fine and they like to take cars that are paid for up here and get it out of impound and then get it fixed.

if there's still time, why not just call your insurance agent
and tell him/her you want coverage for one or two days....
it might just be a nominal fee like $25 - $50 perhaps less

no it's been out fora while. I just decided not to do it, I will have it taken on a flat bed or wait until spring. I drive a co truck for Cingular and if something like that happened it would cost me not only a wreck but my job too.
