not tryin to steal the thread but i read that if u have a s/c and hit the rev limiter it is read bad to not give fi fuel but lets say i have a s/c and u spin ur wheels with t/c on? since it cuts off fuel will it damage the s/c? sorry this is kinda random but someome mentoned fuel cutoff earlier

The biggest problem with t/c on modded cars is that it pulls timing when it shouldn't. It won't break anything, but it makes you look like a sh!tty driver.

Where did you have the relay installed at for the button to turn it back on? I have talked about it and was wondering how you did it. Let me know.

I live in the North Chicago burbs and we get atleast 7 to 8 big 6 inch or more snowfalls a year, and without my life saving traction control i think i would STILL be stuck from last winter. It is a true life saver, i love it. The only real downside is when it rains and you still have traction it cuts it off at the slightest sign of wheel spin, so when turning rightor something and driving over paint, you lose power for a second...which makes morning traffic risky business. but leaving it on makes snow drifting INCREDIBLY easy, just flick the wheel, yank the E brake, and the traction keeps you from spinning out but keeps you sliding = ).

I love my traction because there are alot of hills where I live and I'm not quite 100% on my clutch yet so I like to have it on when I need it (like when it rains), but when I'm at work and I'm bored, I'll go out, turn it off and have some fun spinning in the empty parking lot.

Another reason I love my GT so much. No T/C to have to constantly turn off. Only trade off is that I don't have ABS because it is a combo option (atleast for '04s it seems). If you ever want to try the effects of it, find some slick surface, like ice, sleet, or my sig picture crap and start your car rolling in 3rd gear with less then 1/4 pedal. I could see T/C being nice if you loved to haul *** around in super rainy areas to save you if you got lazy or so, but as far as drving in snow, T/C wont save you much. Maybe something lame like .5' but as far as most places that snow, these cars just aren't set-up to drive around in that crap. Tires, ride hieght, torque/gearing all equal bad news in the white stuff.

My tuner makes a custom PCB with the relay. The t/c button still works, it just starts out in the "off" position every time I start my car.
