Misfire in Cyl 5
Alrite i posted a while back about having problems with my car and about how i thought washing my engine caused the problem. Ne ways, my CEL came on and took the advice of a fellow member on here and took it to autozone to figure out was wrong. I took their diagnosis computer, pluged it in and found out i have a misfire on cyl5. My exhaust backfire some time when i accelerate. Also to add on this, the fumes coming out of my exhaust dont smell right, almost kinda a rotten smell. Ne ways do u guyz ne idea on what could be the culprit and what should i do? Thanx

really ez
first, you remove the wire from the plug (wire should be labeled 5) you can find out on the net which is which if you dont have labeled wires.
then you get a 5/8 deepsocket and a matching socket wrench, and remove it, easy as that.

mmm, ontopish of the head, they are easy to see, but not easy to see, depending on what side it's on. just followe the plug wires. they are right next to the fuel rails i guess you would say. it's been a while since i've gone and replaced plugs or anything of the sort really.
