Default Mustang inserts...

Well im really nervous about putting them on.. Just one last question is what do you use to clean your bumper before putting them on? Just some water or something? Or if my car is already pretty clean do i need to do anything?

Are they the stickers or the Stainless ones? Don't trip too much, just use a bit of soapy water/car wash soap and clean the area, then dry it. Put em on when the sun is out and its above 50' for maxium stick. If your OCD about putting stuff on your car like me, then spend 5 minuets holding each letter in place by hand, then gently remove hand and move to the next one. Thats what I'll be doing when I get the Stainless ones.

Ya they are the stainless. So my moms dish soap wont leave an unwanted residue? And yes im OCD when it comes to something that would be very noticeable if messed up lol.

Use the soap. Dry it, then get a paper towel wet with plain water and re-wipe the area then dry with dry paper towel. Anything more then that would be Rain-Man style.

+1
Clean off area with dish soap to remove all dirt/wax/etc.
I had the sticky cheap inserts, so I dipped to sticky part in a little cup of soapy water 1st, then applied them. Really simply+easy
