dump = exhaust cutout. generally they put them in right after the headers.

unless he's talking about turndowns after the muffler.

its when you dont have tips and you have the exhaust "dumped" or turned down towards the ground before the bumper. probably before the axle also. gives it a nice tone when it echos off the ground. but you get alot of fumes insidethe cabinif you idle for a long time
