Hi guys,

I am trying to decide on which S/C I want, and I need to know if any PI swap cars are running the Saleen blower, were there any fitment issues. I seem to remember something a bot the heat shield on hood rubbing or some thing.. I would also like some performance info as well.

If your gonna spend that much money for the Saleen you should just get the Kenne Bell.

You are right, I may do that. I have to see where I am HP wise before I decide anything. I am not forging the bottom end so 380RWHP is the max I will go. So I have to get my heads , cams just right or I will be too low to compensate or too high to add s/c. Right now I am waiting on answers from a couple shops about s/c hp outputs, yadda, yadda. I think with slightly ported heads and blower cams the Bell would put me over 380. I think his numbers are conservative. But without them I would be at 350 or a little less. It's a hard decision and big money.

remember the compression issues if u aren't going to change pistons
the pi swap will up ur compression and make it harder to run a blower

Well if your now gonna consider a KB and 380hp is as far as you wan't to go then i wouldn't even do the heads. Get the 9psi KB kit with some blower cams and that should get you there.

dont waste the money on the saleen blower, go with procharger or KB. itll get you there pretty easy along with a good tune

i agree...you won't even have to touch your heads if you plan on doing a blower. Which ever blower you decide (Vortech, KB, Procharger, Novi), up the boost a little, throw in some blower cams, an intercooler to be safe and you should reach your goal...i agree with the guys, i wouldn't waste my money on the saleen blower.

i would do the intake and some custom grind cams...the heads won't be necessary to achieve your goal
