I just got my windows tinted and i guess the tint wont stick to the suff on the back window or the mustang onthe front windshield. Does anyone know of how to get those two spots covered up? Like a vinyl or something..........

 

Have them redo it with that part cut off or bring it to a diff place a really good tinter will be able to do it. A handful of tinters don't seem to know what they are doing and do a poor job when it comes to the dotted parts of the front or esp rear windows. I've been a victim you could however hide the outside appearance with black vinyl like you suggest but I would have it done right. Just my .02

and yes vinyl strip works very wellto cover up the dot matrixi have it on my back window,, looks like a custom job
i don't know what to tell you about doing the front,, but im sure another poster can help you there

 

i had him tint over the matrix in the back, yes it is kinda milky white but i dont mind it.

 

Mine is tinted over the matrix in the back and from the outside it appears a little whiter. It sticks on fine though.

 

on my old mustang the tinter use this solvent to desolve the dot matrix down so it was flat. That is what the tinter needs to do. i went to formula one tint
