Amsoil. 25k mile/1 year change interval with warranty <---best part, aside from being better than anything you can buy at WalMart.

Who cares about the waranty, how are you gonna prove the oil was at fault. There are plenty of good oils at walmart.

Proving the oil was at fault is pretty easy, really. A rod sitting through the block isn't oil. Gouges from metal-metal contact is an oil problem.

Fact is, no one has even filed a claim.

I use Mobil 1 5w30. I also add the Lucas Synthetic Oil Stabilizer to it. I love Mobil and Lucas.

Synthetic. I don't know which is better, but I would go with a brand and stick to it.

Theres more than a thrown rod or gougesinvolved in determining that the oil is at fault. That doesnt suprise me that there are no claims its a good oil. The fact is most oils are good and wont cause any problems if changed on time and used with the correct application.

I just changed my oil last weekend. I used Mobil 1 5w-20 full synthetic.

Thats the first time I'm changing the oil since I bought the car, so I just went with w/e everyone else was running on here. I grabbed it from autozone for like $35, with a Motorcraft filter.
