Default Nitrous and Reliability

Would running a 75 shot significantly decrease reliability? How does nitrous compare to F/I in terms of reliability on a stock engine?

well im sure somebody is going to come on here and say that n02 is just like a s/c it just does it chemically... sorry but that is just not true. N20 while it can be safe and reliable - is not as safe and reliable as a s/c... n20 is MUCH moreviolent and even more demanding for quick response by your fuel system and by you... n20 can go south quick, the safety componets are well know to fail, so experience and watchful eye is a must for n20 users... now n20 is cheaper and n20 is not full time - however wait till you spray the first time.. the bottle wont last 20 mins ... however in the long run the s/c is ALOT less hassle and Is cheaper, bc you dont have to refill everyday and you can goose it whenever you want. But to be fair - tuning is what matter for any type of forced induction, but lets be honest.. if both are beaten on an equal amount of time.. the s/c will out last the n20 system by lightyears, (observing the 400rwhp rule). So IMO nitrous is badass and fun, and little juice on top of a charger with a built motor for that every once in a while insurance is great, it would not and is not my choice for my daily driver

nitrous IS f/i.

with nitrous i say there is less wear and tear on the engine.its not like your spraying every day, so 98.3% of the time your car is n/a. plus everytime you spray the nitrous it is a blast! with a supercharger you would get used to the power and it would not be an "event" to gun it.

plus nitrous takes no horsepower to run it like a supercharger.

*stupid bold won't come off*

they both are fine, the only problems with superchargers, nitrous, turbos, is usually cutting corners, bad installs, and fuel issues.... i have run nitrous in my z3, corvette and this car for years with out any issues

not saying both arentgoing toput stress on the enginebut with a s/c you are constenly putting stress on the motor while with nitrous its only when you hit the switch..witch could get very addicting..lol

Yeah N20 is forced induction. Its just like it sounds. You're forcing more air into your car. Batta bing batta boom.

i have used zex and currently venom, they are the best... no switches or extra crap to install all computer controlled... venom also moniters O2 sensor for added safety
