tie rod end removal?

how do i get this thing off?

Put a wrench on the tie rod. their should be flat spots that a wrench will fit on and put another on the jamb nut and undo the jamb nut a few threads and you should be able to thread the tie rod off.

Yeah, losen the nut, but then put it back as close as you can without tightening so you can keep your alignment close. On the other side you'll need a tie rod fork to get it off the wheel end. Go get one from the closest auto parts store. I heard people talking about renting one but I bought one for only like $10. Pretty simple job with the right tools. Oh, also soak both ends really well to make it easier.

Pitman arm puller. $25 at autozone.

You'll need an alignent once you get the new ones on too.
