cruise control

on my 99 gt i set the crusie and it will drop about 4 mph then it will jump about 3 over what i set it at has anyone else had this problem and how do i fix it

my 97 drops about 2-3 then picks back up. to combat this, I just keep my foot on the gas for a couple seconds after I press the cruise button

in my 200 stang the cruise control works when it wants to. does anyone know why??
