Which models came stock with 80MM mass air?
I have a stockFord 80MM Mass air meter that I picked up with a bunch of other parts. It has the black plastic housing, and 6 pin rectangular plug. Anyone know what years and models came stock with this? Any way to tell the Lightning 80MM from the others?[/align]

I've seen a couple of threads with guys talking about 80MM lightning mass air meters. Maybe they don't exist. I knew there were 90's. I'm just trying to figure out which stangs came with plastic 80's.

Speaking of mass air meters, do I need anything more than stock for n/a even with my mods? I heard you only want to go bigger if you have FI, but I have a lot of engine mods.

If you have a six pin more than likely you have a 01 1/2 + maf. The 01 1/2 mafs come with the IAT built in, which is what the two extra pins are for.

GT's have 80mm
N/A Cobras have 80mm
early SC Lightnings are 80mm
later GT's are 85mm
SC Cobra are 90mm
later SC Lightnings are 90mm
i've seen a few Lightning guys post up they had 85mm stock but its a Ford and they aren't always uniform now are they.
