Default widest tire for a 17-9 rim
Well i am getting gears and i am going to need some stickys to keep traction. What is the widest tire i can fit on a 17-9 rim without any problems. and What are the best drag radials in this size???

I had 285s on 9 inch roush wheels, they may have actually been 17x8s. I've seen lots of 17x9s with 315s, they bulge bad tho

Best Fit 275.... "I" wouldnt go any higher then that.

JonBeast had 315s on his 17x9 03 Cobra Rim.

275-285 would be the widest i would go.

275/40 is the closest to stock diameter so your speedo won't be off due to a different diameter.
Going wider than that would be pushing it on a 9 inch rim.
