Default VT Cams. . . .who has um'?

Hey Zach (ZW99GT) is trying to talk me into going with VT stage 2 cams instead of comp cams. They look about the same price. Who has put them in and have you had to do any custom work? Do you like um?

With the reputation VT cams has on all the other forums I do not think you could go wrong.

I love em....the power really comes on strong around 3k and doesn't stop...plus they sound great! I put down 303/318 all bolt on, no head work...for what it's worth.

Dont get me wrong, I LOVE my comps, but since you would have to modify some things in the shortblock, I just thought I would steer you another way. Seriously, I was just trying to steer you away from the 262's. You are going hardcore N/A, and you want more than a stage 1.

I am also a fan of comp. They have ALOT of experience. Theres nothing wrong with Comp. But if I had to do it again, I would go bigger Comps/ or VT 2's
