Default Cam install tool - what do you think?

Ok so I'm wanting to put cams on soon but I really don't want to pay for 8 or so hours of labor. This tool states it will only take 2 hours to install because you don'thave to take the front part of the engine apart. Anyone ever used this tool? Would it be worth it or just a crock of s***? Let me know and I'll grab this thing.

I have never used it but from what I have heard its a pain in the a$$. One small slip and you are going to have to take the front cover off. IMO it is better to do it right and pull the cover. You don't want to take the chance and have the chain jump a tooth and not know because then you will be buying a new engine when those valves hit and lock.

if you are putting anything other than stock P.i. cams You should degree the cams so you might as well pull the front cover off

I know droptop used this tool for his friends car it wasn't really that good you may want to talk to him but here is a link. but remeber my last post. I would only use the tool for stock cam swaps no aftermarket!!
