How Rare?
How rare are 99-02 ( or 04 w/e) GT convertibles w/ a 5 speed? when i was buying my first stang, a 6er, it was impossible to find a vert in manual, but i love the convertibles so much, slower or not. But the convertibles tend to be beat on less, and (dare i say?) mostly female driven. how hard would it be to find a 99-02 gt vert 5 spd? does anyone have factory prod. numbers? thanks

New Edge verts weight about 150lbs more than a coupe that's all,, WTF is that little bit of weight gonna do to hurt performance so much so you notice it?

my dads a ford tech. and he says theyre a little heavier, but not much slower...i mean drag and all but no more than .2 or .3 in the 1/4...but until you've ridden on a warm summer night with the top down at like 9 or 10 with a cool breeze...you've never lived.

yeah the bars are nice as hell, my family has two verts....but theyre both 6ers = (. my dads is red with white top and white leather...it looks amazing and it has like 140k miles but NO PROBLEMS. the thing still shines more than mine with 62k.
