Default lowering

what kit does everybody recommend? around here the eibach pro kit is pretty common. i dont really know jack about suspension, is there anything other than the kit itself i need to lower the car like control arms or cc plates?? by the way i drive a 03 gt auto and when i go to drop it i will have 410's in and a s/c after the suspension.

if you lower it past a certain point (I don't recall, I think it's anything more than a 2" drop) you will need the cc plates to get the front wheels aligned to spec. you may want to replace your shocks and struts while you have everything apart, as they are supposed to go bad faster when you are lowered. control arms are not needed, but they require a lot of the same disassembly to install, so you might want to think about doing all that stuff at once. might need a pinion snubber as well, I used the maximum motorsports with ford C springs and KYB adjustables.

i used h&r supersports with maximum motorsport cc plates and tokico hd s/s, don't mean to correct redass but i believe it's anything lower than 1.5 that's why alot of people go with the prokit, simple spring replacement. can't really tell a lot of differance unless you go lower than that, mu opinion. if your gonna spend the money and time you might as well really notice you've done something.

So if you go with the eibach prokit how soon will you have to change out the shocks and such?
