Default Anyone with an aftermarket TB? Question

Guys, I am going to order a TB soon but I read somewhere that some stock and aftermarket intake pipes may not fit some aftermarket TB's.

First of all, is that correct info? (I thought all TB's were 3" in diameter at the entrance)
Secondly, if so, does anyone know the outside diameter of their aftermarket TB?

I have a Roush CAI and it has a 3" inside diameter to fit the stock 65mm TB.

Any help is appreciated, I do not want to have to buy another CAI if at all necessary.

Thanks

most cai's come with rubber hose fittings that will fit on a larger or smaller t/b, if you must then go buy a new rubber hose from auto zone. other than that you should be fine

the same silicone couple that hooked my jlt cai to my stock throttle body worked with my 75mm throttle body.

Thanks guys, my CAI does not have a flexible silicone connector sleeve though.
It is a Roush direct fit for the stock TB. Just wondering what diameter a 70 or 75 mm TB might be. I could possibly modify it to fit with a flexible connector I suppose.
