Default Any advice?

My buddy has a 98 gt that he just wrecked. My other buddy is selling him a 98 v6 for $300. Our plan is to swap everything from the GT (engine, tranny, harness, computer, instrument cluster, suspension and rear end) over to the v6. I have every tool we need to do it and the guys to help. We all know how to work on cars and 2 of them are trained at NADC.

My question is is there going to be any suprises that we cant think of right now? Anybody else that has done this let me know how it went. They went to pick up the v6 now and we are going to start stripping it tonight. Any advice would be appreaciated. But don't tell me to sell the v6 and get a gt cause that is not an option for this guy due to money.

By the way the Gts rear is smashed and would need the entire rear end replaced which would cost him $4000 so that is not an option either. Thanks

It should be simple as swapping the parts over to the V6..... I dont think you will encounter any suprises, other than what ever parts you will have to buy that have been damaged from the car accident. Sounds like a damn good plan.
