i think you mean chp, not whp, as whp and rwhp are the same thing, the r just says what wheels, anyways, ti's between 13 and 18 percent drive train loss i think. might be 13-15

yep thats what I meant, but I lways thought the small w in whp indicated flywheel hp [&:], thank you for the correction and the percentange info.

18 seems a bit high for a manual, thats more auto range. Id say 10-16% at the max would be a good estimate for a manual. Get a Aluminum driveshaft to help reduce drivetrain loss, and rev faster.

Its way lower fellas The crank is rated at 260 and most people here are making 230-235 on mostly stock rides thats a 7-9percent loss. Not too shaby. But yeah a lighter driveshaft, flywheel and wheels would certainly help.

Wrong!!!! 230-235 on MOSTLY stock rides. Well then, that's not stock. 13-15% loss from crank!!!!

Actually its called BHP not CHP and it is 14% loss with manual and 18% on a auto.

Ok I hear that kinda stuff a lot around here, can someone please explain how that works to me? Why would a lighter flywheel/driveshaft/wheels increase horsepower??? Yes doing that would definitely help increase acceleration because it's easier to speed up a ligher object spinning than a heavier object. But horsepower has nothing to do with inertia. Has someone actually seed a difference on a dyno by lightening those components?

A light weight flywheel and driveshaft on a stock car is a waste and will lower the life of your engine. Do a search of my post for more info cause I don't feel like typing it again.
