Default 4.6L DOHC Intake Spacer

Ok, perhaps I am retarded, but I've been looking for this part for about 2 hours. A friend said you get decent gains when combined with RAI. Who knows more about intake spacers and can tell me the actual gains vs cost in this piece?

ok, intake spacers areent the best thing in the world, for the hassle... you could buy a throttle body and plenium combo,($300) or a spacer that does close to nothing at all.($50 -65)if you wanna do it right do the 75mm tb and the c&l or accufab plenium........ spacers are a joke.

Yea spacers do next to nothing for performance, not worth the money at all.

Actually on your 4valve mach 1 a PHP intake spacer is a great mod for the money. Go to www.mach1review.com for actual dyno test with the spacer. You pick up almost 10tq at the wheels from a mod that is under 100 bucks. Also there is a guy on the mach 1 reg that is reproducing the PHP spacer for cheaper. On a 2V =worthless, on a 4V= very good mod.

Unless that plate has nitrous injected on one side, and fuel on the other side, its not worth it.

i never thought about that. i bet it could potentially be a good mod. i dont think a plenium exists, so i would get a bigger TB and that spacer. i dont know much when it comes to the 4V engine so correct me if im wrong

I agree. That is the only spacer worth the money.
