Default vt st.2 cams are installed! [vid. and pic.]

Just installedVT Stage II cams w/comp cam valve springs. As for the install process, the valve springs were the hardest part! [:@] Ive posted (2) videosbefore I have had it tuned on the dyno. I will post a video update once the dyno has been done. Here are some shots of me and my dad ripping it apart. Please dont look at the dirt on the car, thats the next little project!!! its time to wax tooo!

nice sound. You gotta get used to those cam dying like that. I didn't know that the first time i started the car cold and it died I needed to give it gas and slowly bring it don't to the idle rpm. You will also notice it when you got WOT and stop real quick. Something curtainly to get used to but, very nice none the less.

Even after a tune, it still may die some when you stop. Mine does. Especially with the AC going. Turning the idle speed up helps but that's a trade-off with cams. You want the HP and the sound, you have to put up with it dying some. You didn't want your cake and eat it too did you?

[:@][:@][:@] NO! I had that problem so much with my stupid truck! I had the equivalent of a stage 3 n/a cam and a zz4 crate motor with high rise etc and it was a beat at idle with LT headers and dual 3" flowmaster side exhaust but that stupid truck wouldnt idle for anything! The cam was so wicked. Oh well i guess ill just turn my idle up a bit on my tuner.

All depends on your tune. Mine did it as well with my old tune, but after getting a tuner that was very competent........I never have any issues.
