Default Tranny Update:/ ahhh engine block???

Well, here is a slight update. I was in AK visiting family for a week and behind my back, my friend disassembled my engine. I was going to have to pull it. You know why??? When I got the T45 out, there was damage to two bellhousing points on the block and the starter attachment point was destroyed too. Well, now this fix is getting more complicated(they always do.) I think I am looking at a new block now.
1. Is there any way to salvage my block. IF it is ok except for the attachment points(four total, 2 for starter, and 2 for bellhousing), can the block be salvaged????
2. If not, I am looking at a new block. What should I do???
a. Modular mustang racing forged shortblock up to 600hp
b. Ford Explorer 4.6L block and save 100 lbs off the front end(used in a NA shootout in MM&FF)
c. D.S.S. Level 10 block and orig. internals(assuming they are ok) until I can afford forged ones.

Remember, that I am working on the tranny too. New clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel along w/ tranny upgrade. Money is tight for me so I am looking for the smartest answer. I know some are cheaper but, are they just bandaids??? I have to have this guy up and running by mid April though because I am moving cross country. No working engine= Adam is not having a mustang hahahhahaha Lets hope that doesnt happen.

Thanks for any help!!!!

If you are strapped for cash, go for what ever is cheapest. I found a used 01 PI motor with 35k on it for 700 bucks 20 mins from my house. The deals are out there
