Default UDPs cause broken engines??

Ive been doing some (albeit) late research, and said research is pointing out that UDPs dont give any power gain, make the voltage change have low-speed power steering harder, and causes oil pumps to seize and go boom.... anyone care to help me out with this posible disinformation? thanks.

I hate UDP's because to change your alternator you have to take your water pump pulley off just to get the alt. bolt out. Also I like my A/c cold and not semi and I need my Voltage for Bright headlights and my Stereo System!!!

-1 on having A/C. I am currently A/C free! yay! and to hell with power steering. Who needs it? i would rather drain power from my arms than my motor. as far as subwoofers and other anchor-like accessories, don't do it. just invest in a nice head unit and speakers. UDPs +1

Well I called Steeda. They told me the oil pump WILL break, but it's only when constantly revved up past 6800-7200 rpms (on 4v's), and it happens with the stock pulley as well. I thought the info about seized oil pumps was BS. I'll trust a guy working for the place over internet anyday :-p
