One year that I was racing my car, I put in 5 complete clutch set ups from all the top manufactures, (I launched at 6000 and the slicks had bite) The last clutch set up I put in was a Ford system and its still in there.
Clutch's are like tires and muffers , To each there own.

You may as well change the pilot bearing while your down there and the clutch as well. I had a throw out bearing go at 50,000 miles and just did it all while I had the tranny out..Got another 100,000 out of everything after that.

I had to rock an advance auto parts tob in my 97 4v. Supposedly the Timken (sp?) are the best. You can order them from Advance, but it will take a while for it to arrive.

Since I did the job on my 97 I still get a turbo sound and a BOV sound when I release the clutch. But it's only above 3,000 rpm.
