Have any of you done away with your stock audio systems?
If you have and dont mind could you please post some pics of what your trunk looks like. I'm trying to get some ideas as to the way I should make a box that doesnt take up all of my trunk space. Thanks

this would probably be better suited in the audio section, but i guess you'll get more replies here.

I dont have any pictures of my system right now, need to take some.

I have the Q logic single 10 inch sub box, I cant take a pic right now but it takes up about half the width of the trunk, theres still alot of room behind it.

I've got a kicker 12l7 in a ported box that pretty much takes up my whole trunk.. Got a little space but it's not much.

all Alpine system...CDA-9835 HU
2 Monster Cable 1 farad capacitors that don't do much lol
4 gauge Monster Cable power/ground (going to upgrade to 1/0 gauge Audison cables eventually)
MRV-F345 75x4 amp
MRD-M1005 1000x1 amp
6.5 Type-R components in front (probably going to Focal Polyglass soon)
6x7 Type-R coaxial in back
(2) 10: Type-R 2ohm subs in sealed 1.5 cubic foot box (.75 for each one)...with panels to flush it in

i definitely would upgrade the speakers...and probably do one sub because two is a lot of bass for me...however the subs have pretty good SQ especially in the tiny box they are in...i still have about half my trunk too...and i have full access to my spare tire
