It was in NY. It was this franchised Scratch and Dent repair company.I talked with the guy doing this for me They go through a month of training on cars and colors and stuff. 2 body shops by me wanted between 350 and 600 for the hood.So yeah $75.00 was a steal of a deal and they did it in my driverway. This guy had this wierd tent and **** too it was dried and on the car the next morning.

RE: touch up paint! questions
touch up generally is worse than the problem.. however they have kits with a little bottle of clear with it... use barely enough paint to get the color on there then a few drops of clear (piled high) then wet sand the clear down the factory height and buff.. should have decent results use 2000-3000 grit

RE: touch up paint! questions
I just bought (2) servings of it today from Ford. Its on order for like a week or some crap 'cause of HazMat shipping crap. I just went in with my VIN and they got the paint code off of that. Cost me $12.21 each.
EDIT: As far as applying it, I'm just going to dab it on. I'm cool on all that wet-sanding and buffing jazz. I have little black speckle marks all over the lip of the hood from wind storms blasting dirt and rocks against it. All I want is to blend the Silver back into it, dabs of silver touch-up here and there don't look half as bad as black specs, and from further then 5ft away you'll never be able to tell I touched em up. I could see doing all the prep work and sanding and buffing and crap if you had a BIG scratch to take care of, but nicks and specs should be fine with dabs. My $.02c

I got mine from a Ford dealer for like $6. You can either use it like a pen or it also comes with a brush.
