Default Mach 1 grille delete supposed to have a gap?

Whats up guys? I just got done installing a 3 piece mach 1 grille delete kit I bought off of ebay store: Innovative Publishings. The seller told me that everything was OEM but after the installI noticed a slight gapless than1/4" between the front bumper and the filler panel of the kit. It was real difficult getting that plate in with the 4 twist on bolts included. I tightened the 4 bolts through the bottom as tight as i could yet there is still that gap. It isnt very noticible but being a perfectionist it bothers me that it isnt totally flush with the top of my bumper. I was just wondering if this is normal or if anyone else shares the same problem as I do.

It's easier if you have the bumper cover off the car to install those bottom screws, but if you can get to it again....double side tape the front part down with 3M tape. Mine has a SMALL (1/16th gap) on the right side that goes up the grill opening side, I just dealt with it since it's so small.

Mine has an extremely small gap, and my dad's has about an 1/8th in gap in his. We both got the same kit. I would do like gidiup said and tape it down.

I put mine on last night. I saw no gap at all. I didn't screw anything in except the pony. Bought mine at Blueovalindustries.com
