rarely does it... but almost like a metal grinding in the engine...and it goes with the rpms you can hear it winding up and down.... it has done it about 5 times last 3 days....... only last for about 10 seconds.......

i can't really describe but has anyone had something similar? if so what was it?
sounds like it coming from the top end of the motor
other then that car still runs fine.

118K miles..... any suggestions?

i have piggy back UDP, cai, tuner could any of those fugged my motor up

I dont know man but a metal grinding sound isnt good. Take it to a shop and have it looked at.

almost like a whining/whirling sound ... i quess not to much on the metal side.... too hard to explain....

If you can get a video and maybe we can help you out more, if not go to a shop and have it looked at, it prob won't cost much.
Do you feel any loss of power or anything weird like that?

Felt like a little but then i cannot tell if it's in my head..... lol you know how that goes.... i had windows up radio off....
