Default Used gears?

Do you think it would be a bad thing to go with used gears from like ebay or somthn? is there a way to get bad gears?? jus thinkn of a way to save some cash!

Thats a hard one to answer. You have to look at some good close ups and see if there is any wear on them. Im not to sure if I would do it off Ebay. Maybe from a friend that I know if even that.

aight koo, not really sure wat the crush sleeve is, but when i have some1 put them in, im sure theyll do it

Yes, and it was a pain in the as$! Actually it wasn't that bad.....we used a solid pinion spacer at first (instead of the crush sleeve) and couldn't get the nut tight enough. We put the crush sleeve on and torqued it down and I've had no problems. If you don't know what you're doing just take it to a shop. It will save you alot of hassle.

i hear its alotta hassle, but it will also save alotta $$! i heard somewhere u have to install it, then take it back apart and then install it again?

Yeah, I agree with 94Cbra. You want new gears man, they are not that expensive. Well, I had to take mine apart again because we messed with the pinion spacer. The idea is to get it right the first time, which is totally possible. But I also had the help of my friend who had done gears a couple of times. If you can afford a shop, do that. If not, it will be a hell of a learning experience
