Default air/fuel gauge install

I was at autozone today and saw a air/fuel gauge for like 40 bucks so I got on line and found a really cool one for like a 100 so I think I'm getting a air/fuel gauge and a mount of some sort. So next week end will be the install but how do you hook up a air/fuel ratio guage?

please do yourself a favor and return that ASAP, the only good AF gauges are the wideband ones....they'll set you back about 4 bills

Doesnt it hook up through the O2 sensor? I thought about getting one too now that ill have the top end built and can adjust the timing better.

yeh the only useful A/f gauges are the widebands. I ordered mine from RPM and got it within a weeks time.

It's just a light show and it doesn't do anything, I have one. As far as hooking it up you have to get to your pcm on the passenge side and tap into the 02 wire. Follow the directions at raptorperformance.com on how to install their shift light and it will lead you to the right spot. I forget the # you are suppose to tap into, I'm pretty sure its a red, black, and white wire. I'll let you know later.
