hey BAD FN...im actually going to get the same setup...read around that some people had that setup for years in socal and never got in trouble...i guess it really depends on how you drive and the luck you have with cops....
anyways let me know if you get it and meet me somewhere so I can hear it in person...

So in any part of California if you change out the midpipe, it's illegal? What if you installed acatted midpipe? Here in Louisiana as long as you have cats it's legal.

The law states relocation or removal of stock factory cats other than to replace with equal equipment is unlawful. Sucks, don't it?

thats pretty much how it is in most states. you cant touch the cats that are working properly or else its illegal. even if you put high flow cats in still a no go.

so if you were to 'damage the cats' per se while going over a speedbump after lowering it or something of the like....you need to get an OEM replacement exhaust? i mean how can they prove your cats werent working....
