Rolling fender lip...
I've been searching for threads about this and have came up with this:
https://mustangforums.com/m_2065921/tm.htm
http://www.cryogen97.net/howto/rollfender.html (not so sure about this bat technique...)
https://mustangforums.com/m_698299/tm.htm (groundpounders 335 problem)
Other than this.. I don't see much as far as advice on a good way to go about this.....
Any advice??
Thanks
Neil

You can try the baseball bat technique, or you could call around to local body shops and see if they roll fenders, prolly for around 50-75 bucks.
I need to roll mine as well, 335s[

I know that I can move the lip.. but doing it without cracking the paint is what i'm worried about...
I would love to have 335's but my non pi would be stupid to have it.....
I could imagine someone being like "Dang man what do you have in that car, what kinda power is it making" And me sounding retarded ummm 215 horse power[:@]
I would just stick with having someone do it professionaly so you dont have to worry about your paint

DO NOT USE THE BASEBALL BAT!!! Save it for the feild! 2 ways, profesionaly or at home with a 4x4 x about 8-10 inches, masking tape, rubber mallot or dead blow and a lot of pacience! I've done A LOT of these! It will not hurt your paint unless you go psycho with the hammer!
[ul][*]Put the tape around the fender lip. (basicly any where contact will happen, hammer or block of wood) The block of wood is held on the outside of the fender to obsorb the blow from the hammer and to ensure no disfigurement of the fender.[*]Look and measure how far the fender will touch down on the tire. mark it off...[*]Then start gently tapping in the center molding the contour inward (folding). do it evenly till the area of the fender is clear from the tire travel.....[*]And only go as far down the fender and in as you need too![*]Having the paint and metal warm also may help a bit. I have done it both ways but have never had any problems either way with good paint
The bat technique was a way disfigure the actual fender back in the 50's not rolling the lip... DON"T DO THIS[/ul]
Hope it helps
Mike

Yea... I dug them up... Jdaniel had a very nice car too....
Your better off using a professional lip roller like eastwood (something similar to this http://www.eastwoodco.com/shopping/p...;keyword=31158)and you also need a blowdryer to heat the paint up before your about to roll, get it hot enough where you can touch it for a second and then start from one side and work your way to the other until you have it how you want it. I was looking into doing the same thing on my car and thats what I would recommend.
