Slow rev recover?

RE: Slow rev recover?
I am not saying that flywheel weight does nothing for an engine, but again, it wouldnt
matter in this situation because the "symptom" is the result of another issue
to use your own example..
whether you use a heavy nut, or a light nut... if the hand doesnt stop spinning the string
neither nut is slowing down. therefore the weight makes no difference.

Well the IAC had no affect ...So after reading the FIX....I strolled intoour parts room,,found a DORMAN freeze out plug ,,,about the right size,,,,drilled a 1/8 hole(start out small) and BAM!!!!its perfect!!!!!!!!!No hang time whatso ever!!!!!>>>I do believe the S/C made the prob more SEVERE....as it was hangin around 3 k for at least5 to 10seconds,,,between shifts....Thanks for the FIX.....Oh ,I just put the capon the IAC first and then shoved the hose over it,,,and there it stays....

Freeze out plugs go in the engine Block in cetain areas to prevent the block from cracking during a "freeze"."toomuch water to antifreeze..When it starts to freeze(the engine),,,insteadof the block cracking,,the plugs pop out releasing the Coolant and water mix...Been in blocks as long as I can remember...and have replaced several....(rusted out,,poped out)....but really this is a great fix for the slow rpm drop...

Good sh*t. So obviously you probably wouldn't have to worry about this kind of problem if you stay in a climate that rarely gets to freezing temps, right?

Going to get my pictures back today and post my write up on how to do this gasket style. BTW, I live in an area where the high temp on a sunny day is 30' sometimes. I started the car up yesturday and it couldn't have been more then 18-20' outside and the car idled just fine, my write up will go into more detail, I'll post it soon today.
