I wet sanded my parts, primed, wet sanded then 3 coats of single stage paint. Don't use that interior paint at wall mart it will look like crap. Use a real paint sprayed from a gun not a can.

Definately wet sand then use rubbing alcohol to get all finger oils and stuff off. Also do light coats!

I sanded mine down to get all the crap off, then applied some walmart silver spray paint (3 coats) and then did a bunch of clear coats, and it came out really well
