Dude if its just WRX it wont even be worth your time. Maybe a really good driver can take a GT but what probably happened is she raced a mach one once and it did a nasty burn out and she got him off the line adn when he started to catch up she let off. . . thats usually what happens when ppl say stuff like that. I raceda VR4 3000gt and yeah he had me off the line but i ate him alive in the end. . . but he still told everyone he smoked me. It was funny becuase i caught him and passed him. Go figure. People like to talk but maybe 1% back it up.

^ +1 on the 3000GT VR-4 putting awhoopin on a Mustang GT. Maybe the VR-4 was runnin on 4 cylinders with only 3 wheels and no gas, maybe.
To the original thread starter, is this gonna be a WRX or an STI, there is a big, big difference in the 2, so we need to know to let you know if you have a chance.

Subarus are junk off the line up to 30mph, but after that, your toast! 300hp WRX or impreze sti weighing in 3250lbs will eat you up!

i beat a stock sti from a 50 roll on the hiway to 120ish with minor mods and a tune. in a gt like 2 years ago.sti was brand new at the time. some asian kid behind the wheel. off the line i would have died, but race a ricer roll race and you will have a shot. come on its a women driving.......j/k

My old roommate had a WRX . When me and the WRX were stock we raced ALOT. i dont race from a roll....thats gay. If he launched HARD he would get out infront and i couldnt catch up. He would have about 1/2 car on me. If he launched normal i was able to reel him in and put a 1/2 car on him.It was like this until he did exhaust/intake then a few small mods. Then i couldnt catch up at all.

Most drivers are too scared to do a real launch with a AWD. You will take the WRX if its stock.

To a bunch of the other posters: you shouldn't open your mouth unless you know what you're talking about. Seriously, "Subarus are junk up to about 30 mph," is just about one of the dumbest things ive heard since the new year.
