I'd make sure you don't have a leak in the tank somewhere.

53 or w/empg in a half a tank, maybe you were parked on an odd hill when you filled up and it read it incorrectly?

just the piping that comes off of your engine, that connect to the picking for your air intake, carborator, etc.

Carb'd 4.6L would be cool. I know Ford made the intake and ignition controller to do that...just haven't seen it.

Sorry buddy hes not talking about the fuel gauge sending unit or anything of its likes.

Hes talking about filling up the tank, using a half a tank of gas while recoding the miles, and filling it back up so youknow exactlythe amount of gallons are in that half of tank you just used.

Dividing the # of miles driven by the gallons of gas used = mpg

I was talking about the device thats in the gas tank that tells the computer how much gas is left in the tank. I know my old grand prix had a floating device in it that measured the gas. I dont know what the Stangs have in them though. but that's what i was talking about.
