Default 96 GT bolt-on suggestions?

Thanks for viewing,

I have a 96 GT that is basically stock. I want to improve the HP but still be able tocruise the city streets. Not looking for a track car!! Any suggestions for some bolt-ons would be great. I will be posting some pics soon and will post more as I make upgrades. Thanks for your time!!!!! [8D]

You can get a few HP out of full exhaust and K&N. thats 'bout it until you get a PI motor or heads.

Exhaust will make it sound better...

Unfortunately our years (96-98) do not respond well to bolt ons so yea, swap out the restrictive heads and intake.
Do a search on PI swap and you'll see what I mean!

bolt ons on our cars are a waste of money, except exhaust (sounds good) but save that money that you would spend on bolt ons and do the PI swap. if you really dont want to get that indeapth then 4.10 or4.30 gears.

You can check my sig out I am roughly seeing 20mpg on highway still.but if you really want to wake it up and see some go hp and some good gass milage I would say start with a midpipe and cat back. Then get a air intake. Then I would say you don't need a full p.i. swap. if you were to get a p.i. intake and p.i. cams you would only be short about 15hp from a full swap. and if you want a little more get some comp or vt stage 1 cams

didnt u listen to him guys . . he dont want a strip car just a few bolt ons for sum extra umph. i say go with exhaust , 373 gears and maybe a few things like throttle body, plenum mass air meter and cold air intake. u should feel a nice pick up after that. as far as full exhaust goes, you need to do research and pick which one you like the best, my opinion is slp, but thats just me
