Man he must have a 4.30 or bigger....mines only 2600 @ 70 in 5th....with 4.10s...

 

I have to agree that you may have just out drove your comp... I know that I have went up against some good fast cars, 99 camaro ss and 07 vet,new vets are slow....

 

That would be nice, to find some gears you didn't know about. Christmas all over again. Nice kill.

 

lol, mines at like 2400-2500 @70ish with 4.10s, 2700 at 55 in 5th would be like ... 4.50+ i would think lol.

allblack, post some pics of your engine, maybe post a clip of your car idling and we might be able to help determine your mods.

If your car doesn't have full bolt-ons, you simply out drove the other driver, because without full bolt-ons that 05+ GT would mop the floor with you, even with a car full of passengers.

 

Yup im raising the old flag on this one. [sm=bs.gif]My car (right before the build) with all the mods it had was neck and neck with my buddies 06 GT everytime we raced. He was bone stock but he really knew how to drive. I wouldnt be too proud because if someone knew how to drive that 05+ they would have spanked you. Seriously.
