Default upr off-road x-pipe

I've been looking into buying a x-pipe for my 99 gt. My question is i have stock exhaust except for the
2 chamber flows which is 2 1/4". If i get the upr x-pipe that is 2 1/2" will it matter much that my whole otherexhaust is 2 1/4"?(You know bigger pipes less back pressure) In my case it would be stock manifolds through 2 1/2" x-pipe then back to 2 1/4" stock cat back with welded in flows.I know if you don't want the check engine light on you have to buy the mil eliminators.Just seeing whatyou all think.. thanks

Default RE: upr off-road x-pipe

It will be fine. With minimal mods like on your car it won't make any difference. If you ever decide to force feed the car you may wanna invest in some LT headers and a full cat-back to match the x-pipe size. I had the same setup as you for a long time and had no problems.

As far as MIL eliminators, go with BBK. I've hadthem on mine for about 7k milesand they still work great.
