Uhh...can someone clarify what everyone means by "drone"
Basically, it sounds like loud bass from the radio

Yeah, or hit the ****in gas and get past the drone. Either that or shift and go at a lower RPM. With my Prochamber and Mac catback I drone at pretty much dead on 2000 RPMs. I dont mind it much, but if it's annoying or if I have somone with me, I either shift into the next gear, or speed up a little to get past the drone. 2500 RPMs is easily past it so it's not a big deal.
lower RPM actually makes it louder in my car. it's more of a low tone, and penetrates easier.

2300+rpm is where it's best if you need to say anything lol.

I guess it's probably because of my Prochamber, but I don't drone under around 2000, so shifting works fine for me.

I've got Stingers and an o/r H, i get lots of interior noise,, very loud,, amazingly awesome..

gf, mom, dad, and most of my cousins say its WAY too loud inside for a daily driver.

Drone yes, does it bother me? no

PS: highway = no conversations unless they're loud

i dont understand why drone bothers people SO much...if you didn't want to hear the car more then why didn't you keep the stock exhaust on?? it is the price you have to pay when switching to MOST aftermarket exhaust systems...you can get it around it SOME depending on your set-up....but i personally do not mind drone...doesn't let you forget you actually HAVE an exhaust note

For those of you who love your drone, "God love you". To each his or her own. I for one would like to carry on a conversation in my car without having to talk over an anoying, brain rattling sound which can be easily eliminated. My exhaust still barks loud and long when I jump on it, asany Magnaflow will. But that ugly drone at 2000 rpm is no more, and to that I say good ridance.

If you like it, keep it. I personally don't want it, and now that it's gone, don't miss it.

I absolutely love my Flows w/ o/r h, at idle and cruising around town it sounds much better than most stangs around here in my opinion. The drone doesn't bother me a bit, because you know what situations causes it and you can avoid it, but it doesn't really bother me much anyway. For the old school rumble go w/ flows and o/r h. If you wanna have a quiet idle stay away from it, I wake neighborhoods up driving late at night.

VERY interesting.

I wonder what the sound outside the vehicle sounds before versus after.
