my 03 gt is my dd...and is an AUTO..im about to put on my mac o/r prochamber and slp lm1's..and ive been seriously considering buying some headers. now from what ive heard and read, longtubes dont fit on autos and have to be modified to fit...what kind of headers should i look into?? i would like some comparable gains like longtubes as well as the agressive sound. OR..if i dont buy the headers first im gonna go ahead and buy 410s and a tuner. right now im set on the gears. i will eventually be going f/i. what do you guys think??

 

Mac and SLP both fit on autos.. Not sure about kooks...

 

I'd get gears and tuner first anyway...in fact I am getting gears and tuner first...

I'm not sure of the specific brands, but I know that at least *some longtubes fit on autos. I've got a local guy that has a Mustang shop, he says that longtubes are the best thing for my 02 Auto after gears and tune. He says he's put longtubes in other new edge auto GT's. I respect his opinion greatly...the guy knows his shizzle.

MAC is good from what I've heard, but I run Hooker long tubes and I love them. Although my car isn't an auto, I've seen Hooker sets specifically for autos. They do hang a bit low, so ground clearance maybe any issue if your car is too low.
