do you use? i just use motorcraft, but theres like 100 different types of oil at the store.. does royal purple really add power?

royal purple doesn't do anything imo some claim it does but I can't justify the cost. Irun 5w-30 mobil one synthetic thats what a lot of guys run on here. Also use a k&n oil filter but you can use whatever you want. wix,fram,mobil 1 etc

It's more about product quality than anything. There's a sticky on oil and oil filters in the General Tech boards. Generally, FRAM is trash, PureOne is a notch up, and K&N is the best oil filter you can buy. As long as it's not a FRAM though you should be golden, if you're changing every 3k.
