my 96 gt hesitated when going from a complete stop, sometimes while running it makes like"hic ups". Last weekend I took apart the TB, because I thought that was the problem. The blade looked fine from one side, but the side facing to the upper plenum was very dirty, hardened oil and debris, (like the one you find in kitchen stoves or ovens). I used carb cleaner for the job. But that is not my worry.

I checked with a flashlight and the walls of the upper plenum looked the same, also the intake manifold. It looks like it is dirty all the way down.

What should I do...
Take it to a professional and take it apart?
I am concerned that this is going to need major $$$.
My car only has 60 000 miles
