hey i just got a new pypes performance catted x pipe, its 2 and a half inch piping, and i was wondering if it would bolt up to the stock exhaust, all i have are weld in flowmaster mufflers

I'm fairly certain the stock exhaust is 2.5in.

I could be wrong, but the piping on my SLP Loudmouth catback was 2.5 in, and it bolted right up to my stock midpipe until I replaced that as well.

u can do it not that hard but long tubes....thats a different story....

yes, it'll bolt right up but have a swivel on hand for the passenger side, it can be a bish

That's what I was originally thinking, but I don't remember it reducing in size at all from the midpipe to the catback.

Your saying it does?

Well that was weird...anyway...

Your X pipe should be 2.25" Assuming you bought the correct X pipe for the correct make/model/year car, then yes, it will bolt right up. No worries.

I'm just waiting for warmer weather to install my Pypes o/r X myself.

yeah it says its for the 99-04 mustangs so hopefully its the right thing
