Default Question about thermostat install

Ok... I am pretty much a tard when it comes to somethings.. I hear this is an easy install, but are they any good how to write ups on this? I have searched this site, but nothin - just quick run downs on how to... any helps appreciated.

You have to drain the system. Then you can pop it off, always good to test the thermostat in boiling water first to make sure it works. Install the same way you saw it and then put back together and add the coolant not forgetting to burb the system or you will have airbubbles and chance overheating. Thats the basic deal.

So your telling me you popped the thermo off had no coolant spill out and then swap thethermo without any probs?

Well, if we need to go into obvious details...

Expect "some" coolant loss. Observe coolant level after swap, top off as needed.

Probably a 160 degree thermostat.. I have been able to find all that info... but since i've never replaced one I was looking for a detailed write up.. didn't know if anyone knew where this was online.. grr.. lol

haha, embarrasing to say, but i dont even know where it is!!!! lol - like i said im a tard when it comes to somethings... atleast i can admit it [:@]

Stay away from the 160 and go 180 as the 160 will make ya run too cool and possibly rich
